Brett played 12 Minutes from Annapurna Interactive. It’s a game where you’re stuck in a timeloop but are you stuck for too long? We also play the free-to-play Splitgate which is basically Halo Meets Portal. It’s a blast to play and we talk about all you can do in the game! We also try out Tribes of Migard which features up to 10 players in a survival/tower defense game from Gearbox Publishing.
In the news, Sony has a huge Playstation Showcase featuring surprise announcements from God of War Ragnarok, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and more. We also talk about China’s game limit, Marvel’s Avengers roadmap and leaked images around Redfall.
Amazon Game Studios has New World coming out end the end of the month. We’re very excited for this new game to release but really wanted to take some time to go over our experiences in both the closed beta and the open beta. It’s been a great game to play but will it have the staying power? Will we struggle to keep up with it as casual gamers? We’ll find out Sept 28th.
