We went to SXSW 2024 this year. It’s a big conference and festival that occurs in Austin, TX featuring interactive, film, tv and music. We went and attended a ton of gaming sessions about Roblox, Fortnite, streaming and more. We also experienced some awesome brand activations such as a promo for the Fallout TV show where we entered a version of Filly from the show itself.
We also talk about the dark side of Roblox. There is a lot of targeted marketing in Roblox designed to keep kids more and more engaged in brands. Is this good for their future? We also look at the Borderlands trailer featuring a collab with the Skip, Rent, Buy podcast and we share our thoughts on the canceled Spider-Man multiplayer game.
