The Inner Gamer,

348: Evil Dead the Game, Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodhunt and Gotham Knights

May 23, 2022

In episode 348, we’re beyond excited about Evil Dead the Game. We didn’t expect greatness, but we got a quality experience, faithful to the films we can’t wait to play again. Brett and Austin also try the new battle royale Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodhunt. It’s a nice twist on the battle royale genre, but is it enough? Brett also tries the 30 min experience that is Aperture Desk Job on the Steam Deck.

In the news, both EA and Take-Two are working on a ton of new games and we speculate what they are. We also talk about PS Plus’s new game reveals coming to their Game Pass competitor. We get surprised by a new CCG called Marvel Snap from the creators of Hearthstone.

Our discussion is focused on Gotham Knights. Gameplay was released for Red Hood and Nightwing and we’re concerned. It doesn’t look as good as it should and the gameplay may feel a bit flat. Will they redeem themselves?
