One of the last exclusives of this generation has come out this last week: Ghost of Tsushima. It’s the next title from Sucker Punch and it features the player in the shoes of Jin saving the island of Tsushima from Mongol invasion. It’s a game full of things we’ve seen before but all done really well while introducing lots of new mechanics that will surely become staples. Brett also talks about his experience playing the raid in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. He goes up against Baal in Project Titan and may not do so well.
In our news, Sony has increased production for the PS5 and revealed the first hands-on for the DualSense controller. Xbox on the other hand is not going to have any new exclusives for a few years but they’re leaning heavily into Project xCloud making it part of the Game Pass. Metacritic is also holding the reviews for 36 hours to prevent review bombing.
Our discussion this week has us preparing for what’s to come in 2020. We still don’t know all of the exclusives for Xbox or release dates in all titles but we know enough to get hyped. We cover everything going between now and the end of the year. So much excitement!
