The Inner Gamer,

260: Dreams, Call of Duty Warzone and COVID-19 Affecting Games

March 16, 2020

Brett finally dives into the new game from Media Molecule called Dreams. It’s a game creator engine at its core, but we try out the short game experience “Art’s Dream” as well as several of the user-created games. There is some amazing work in here and we’re impressed with how vastly different this can be!

In the news, we talk about the success of Call of Duty Warzone, Silent Hills apparently coming back and a new Witcher game coming after Cyberpunk 2077.

This week’s big topic revolves around the pandemic COVID-19 that is spreading around the world. It’s resulting in cancellations everywhere from GDC to now E3. How long will this disease last? What else will get cancelled? How is this going to affect the new console launches?

Special thanks to Crazzie Pro Gear. They provided us with some incredible pro-level backbacks for carrying our computer equipment to all our events. If you want a bag yourself, head over to their website to purchase one! A portion of the proceeds go to support The Inner Gamer.
