This week we drop down into depths of a complex as prisoners tracking down valuable resources in a game called GTFO. The catch is there are creatures here who are out to get us…badly. GTFO is from the creators of Payday 2 and you and 3 other friends play cooperatively to fight off alien creatures as you find tools and resources and figure out why this place is so messed up in the first place. It’s extremely hard. Really hard. We also jump back into Temtem which is much more cheerful and lots of fun, albeit a bit more difficult than Pokemon.
In the news, Nintendo has their direct on Animal Crossing with all kinds of new announcements. Several companies decide to skip upcoming events like PAX East and GDC due to the Coronavirus. Eli Roth is directing a Borderlands movie and Cyberpunk 2077 will come to Nvidia Geforce Now.
Our discussion this week has us venturing out into a lot of new places where we break down our top 10 greatest video game destinations. From Rapture to Los Santos, we travel through time and the world to relive some of our greatest worlds we’ve explored in video games.
Special thanks to Crazzie Pro Gear. They provided us with some incredible pro-level backbacks for carrying our computer equipment to all our events. If you want a bag yourself, head over to their website to purchase one! A portion of the proceeds go to support The Inner Gamer.
