Episode 122: Little Nightmares, Everything and Interview with Josh Starnes of Red 5 Comics

May 09, 2017

In this episode, we touch on a few indie titles and revisit The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild now that Devan got his hands on it. We review an indie platformer called Little Nightmares which is scary, exciting and more. We also review Everything in which you play literally everything in the world. It’s quite an experience that you don’t want to miss.

In our gaming news, Injustice 2 releases next week and a Starcraft Gold Master Copy was found and returned to Blizzard. Much to the good samaritan’s surprise, he got hooked up with games, gear and tickets to Blizzcon all expenses paid. Not a bad deal. We discuss a possible Call of Duty 4 Remastered standalone release, Dungeons and Dragons being used as therapy for kids and more.

Finally, our interview this week features Joshua Starnes, partner at Red 5 Comics. They produce a slew of comic series and he’s the writer of a few of them including Spook. In this interview we cover a wide range of topics such as forming a team for producing a comic, marketing the comics, building a brand, video games, finding time for games and much more.
