The Inner Gamer,

Episode 112: Night in the Woods, Ghost Recon Wildlands & Video Game Exclusives

February 28, 2017

We get our hands on the latest indie title that will surely surprise you: Night in the Woods. It’s a cleverly designed and beautifully illustrated game about a cat named Mae who returns to her home Possum Springs and finds things are like she left them. We also play For Honor’s single player and give our impressions, talk some more Nioh and play the Ghost Recon Wildlands beta.

The Nintendo Switch is coming out next week and as such we have all the launch titles for that. The Joy-Con controllers are having some issues with pre-release hardware, Ken Levine has a new studio and AMD has a new series of processors that are quite good.

Finally, we discuss video game exclusives and why they matter to the industry. We see a lot of exclusive games for console systems and the team explores why they’re so important for Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo.

We also announce our contest winner for the Solar Flare contest!
